Lena at Ein Herz für Kinder 2025

Lena was invited to the big Ein Herz für Kinder gala in Berlin for the third time for Wadadee cares, following 2019 and 2020. On Saturday, December 6th at 8:15 PM, the 25th charity gala began on ZDF. The excitement was immense, and walking the red carpet among many celebrities was once again a special experience. Around 10:00 PM, Lena was called and allowed to enter the stage. Host Johannes B. Kerner was delighted to see her again, as he had visited with his team in Namibia at the end of October. First, a film review of 2019 and a report on what Lena and Wadadee cares have achieved in recent years was shown. The reunion with little Grace from Home Inami was particularly moving. Lena then had a brief opportunity to speak about their new project "Okurua," which will become a home for underage girls who became pregnant unwillingly through sexual violence. They are very pleased that Ein Herz für Kinder will support the realization of this important project, and after a long preparation period, they will now be able to help many traumatized, pregnant girls and young women, offering them a safe home with everything needed. It was a great honor to be part of Ein Herz für Kinder again, and their heartfelt thanks go to the association Bild hilft e.V., the production company ITV Studios Germany, and of course Johannes B.
