Help in Namibia
Volunteering in Namibia
Become a part of it!
You can become part of our work as part of a volunteer or internship in Namibia. As a volunteer, you can expect an unusual program that you can design yourself. A combination of helping and experiencing will make your time in Namibia unforgettable.
By working on our partner projects, you make an effective contribution to our work. The tangible impact you can have on the lives of vulnerable children varies from project to project and relates to the day-to-day care and support of children of all ages, as well as activities in the areas of construction, photography, fundraising and administration.
The project work includes, among other things, teaching the little ones to speak in a playful way and helping school children with their homework, as learning English is particularly important for the children's future. In addition, the volunteers are also happy to take on the responsibility of organizing the children's leisure activities. They can plan and implement projects and activities independently.
The duration and location of the stay can be freely planned and can be individually adapted to your ideas. You should also be at least 18 years old when you start your trip. There is no upper age limit. However, we would like to point out that we can recruit volunteers who are older than 40 through the Senior Experts Service (SES) as needed.
Since we want to use 100% of our donations for the children and project work, all costs (flights, accommodation, meals) must be borne by the volunteers themselves. However, we do not charge any fees for placement or supervision.
If you need advice on financing options, we are happy to help.

Planning and accommodation
Your deployment will be coordinated and planned by our employees in Germany with those responsible on site. You will have a contact person available for the entire duration of your stay so that problems and concerns can always be resolved quickly.
We also support you in the entire planning and organization of your stay. We not only help you book a cheap flight and apply for a visa, we also offer you accommodation with our partner in Nambani House. Our office is also located there.
The Nambani House is located in Windhoek and serves as a "home away from home" for many students and volunteers from all over the world. In addition to cozy evenings at the cinema, cooking together in the large kitchen or sunny hours by the pool, you also have a comprehensive range of travel options at your disposal: spontaneous weekend trips to Swakopmund, Etosha or Sossusvlei, as well as a large Namibia tour to the Vic Falls. As part of the Wadadee family, you will quickly find connections and can make new contacts. "Make friends, make a difference!"
To ensure complete and correct preparation and planning of your stay, you should contact us at least 6 months before the start of the internship. We require a short letter of motivation and your CV (in German and English).
If you are interested, please send us a message to application@wadadeecares.com!
We look forward to seeing you!
