This week was a very special occasion for joy at Bernard
Nordkamp Centre in Windhoek: The children of the People's Primary School
were able to receive their new school uniforms with shining eyes
take it! 👕✨
What at first glance appears to be a simple piece of clothing
may be, for many of these young students, much more than
A school uniform symbolizes belonging, provides support and strengthens
self-esteem. It is an expression of being part of a community
– a community that is focused on education, cohesion and
builds mutual support.
Especially in an environment where material resources are often scarce,
For many children it is not a given that they have a complete and
to go to school in their intact uniform. The joy was all the greater when they
were now able to proudly wear their new outfits. The uniforms are not only
a practical companion in everyday school life – they also stand for dignity,
Equality and the appreciation that every single child
is met.
Education is a crucial key to a better future. But
To truly participate in education, it takes more than just pens
and books. It needs an environment in which children feel seen,
feel valued and encouraged. The handover of school uniforms is
an example of how a seemingly small gesture can have a big impact
It not only strengthens self-confidence, but also
Motivation and pride of children to go to school and be part of a
larger community.
We are grateful and proud to support the Bernard Nordkamp Centre in this
to be able to support this wonderful project close to our hearts. It fills us with
great joy to see how much this initiative has changed the everyday lives of the children
positively influenced. A heartfelt thank you to all supporters
and supporters who made this moment possible with their commitment
have made.
Together we create perspectives – step by step, uniform for
Uniform. ❤️
