Lena got married

On February 23rd, the wedding bells rang and our association founder and "Ein Herz für Kinder" award winner Lena Palm married her long-term partner Tanite Awaseb. It was a wonderful celebration in the garden of the Droombos Lodge near Windhoek. The ceremony took place there under the old camelthorn tree, and God blessed this marriage in a special way, as it began to rain right as the ceremony was ending. In Namibia, this is a special occurrence on a wedding day. The rain did not dampen the subsequent wedding party, and the couple celebrated, danced, and laughed until late into the evening with the whole family and many friends. This special day could not have been more beautiful.
