Distribution of Nampads at the Home of Good Hope

On March 20th, Ute and our volunteer Nadja visited the Home of Good Hope. The reason for the visit was to distribute our Nampads to the girls in the project. 30 girls between the ages of 13 and 18 listened with great interest for three hours to Ute's explanations on menstrual hygiene and how to use the reusable sanitary pads. It is very important for the girls to learn that the Nampads help them to keep themselves clean during their period and that they can attend school without any problems during this time. There will be another meeting with the girls in four weeks, where contraception will also be discussed.
