On the first weekend in December, we had the unique opportunity to present Wadadee Cares at the Burtscheid Christmas market in the midst of the festive pre -Christmas atmosphere. We not only used this wonderful atmosphere to provide information and gratefully accept donations for our projects. It was also a wonderful opportunity to intensify the community spirit of Burtscheid and Windhoek through joy, solidarity and the spirit of Christmas through many moving conversations and valuable encounters.
We would like to thank all donors and Boris Bongers, who supported us with a portion of the proceeds from each copy of his new book Lea . Special thanks also go to the Burtscheid Interest Group as the organizer of the Christmas market for this great opportunity.
