The penultimate weekend in June was dedicated to two small children as part of Wadadee Cares Fundraising events in Haan and Hilden.
On 21 June, Wadadee Cares was part of the summer festival of the Mittelhaan primary school and was represented on site by two former volunteers. With the help of a
Class 3c presented their small exchange with a preschool class from the Havana in Katutura. Many parents and children were able to get an insight into the work and goals of Wadadee Cares. In addition, the sale of small pearl animals and wooden elephants from
Namibia collected some donations.
The following day, 22 June, a small African market was organised in the neighbouring town of Hilden, where various souvenirs, self-sewn clothing as well as African food
and drinks were sold for a good cause. Numerous Pictures and flyers provide a direct insight into the projects of Wadadee Cares. All proceeds were subsequently donated.
